Hi Everyone.  Jane and I have had a very busy August and it seems I have hardly made a single Blog post for the whole month.  We have done a lot on the house and been very busy picking out bathroom fixtures, appliances, windows, wood stove, and discussing the type of boiler we should use for our in floor heating.

The house as been steadily growing.  We have all the outside walls and roof is completing.  We will get the roofing shingles on sometime this week.  On the inside almost all the framing is complete.  the infloor heating is installed upstairs now and we are waiting for the concrete to be poured on the second food.  The windows have been delivered and are waiting installing which should also happen this week.

Jane and I have been doing a lot of research on solar hot water and solar photovoltaic panels.  It is a challenge but we know much more than we did a week ago.  The decision on the type of system is still up in the air, waiting for quotes but we expect to make that decision by next Friday.

We have been a bit negligent on photos.  I find we have none of the roof and none of our trim.  Jane and I spent several days painting all the trim.  It looks great now it is up.
